POLICIES

Policies

Terms of service

Last updated October 30, 2026. TinyDeskGen is an independent service and is not affiliated with NPR, MiniMax, SeeAPI, or any performer. Help, payment, privacy, and content reports: patrickwu1992@gmail.com. You must be at least 18 to use the service and must follow the Acceptable use policy, Privacy policy, and Payments and refunds policy.

Video packs are one-time purchases: $6.90 for 100 video credits, $12.90 for 200, and $17.90 for 300. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. One video request reserves 100 credits. A failed or rejected request that does not incur H3 generation usage releases the reservation; after H3 has started, the final credit decision follows the provider's verified usage and the site's disclosed generation rules. Supplier charges are separate from your video balance.

The configured video model is MiniMax H3 (model ID minimax-h3) through SeeAPI's reference-to-video API. The service scans its fixed operator prompt with Waffo before generation, checks submitted portraits and generated video through SeeAPI moderation, and stores H3's returned original video for authenticated playback and download. AI results vary and are not guaranteed to match a person, performance, or reference. Identify results as AI-generated parody and do not present them as authentic footage or an official NPR performance.

To the extent permitted by law, the service and AI output are provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or exact results. We may reject requests, restrict features, or suspend accounts for policy violations, fraud, or abuse. We will consider appeals and handle unused paid balances under the refund policy and applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Leaving an unpaid checkout does not cancel a completed payment. Check the order status or contact support before starting another pack. Contact patrickwu1992@gmail.com with your account email and order or job reference. Never email card details, passwords, or sign-in codes.

Privacy

Last updated October 30, 2026. TinyDeskGen uses Supabase for sign-in, Waffo Pancake for hosted checkout and payment records, SeeAPI for portrait/video moderation and H3 generation, and Cloudflare for private file storage and delivery. The checkout provider handles full card details; TinyDeskGen stores order, payment-status, and credit-ledger references, not full card numbers.

Photos remain in your browser until submission. Submitted photos and generated videos are sent to the providers needed to review and process your request and are deleted from TinyDeskGen storage after 30 days. Providers may have separate retention periods. We also process account email and ID, order and credit records, consent, task status, moderation results, and limited security/error logs to provide the service, prevent abuse, and handle support.

For access, correction, deletion, account closure, or privacy concerns, email patrickwu1992@gmail.com from your account email and identify the requested action. We aim to handle verified privacy requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law. We may retain financial, security, or dispute records where legally necessary and will explain applicable limits. Do not email photos, passwords, payment-card details, or sign-in codes with a request.

Payments and refunds

Video packs are one-time purchases with no subscription or automatic renewal: $6.90 / $12.90 / $17.90 for 100 / 200 / 300 video credits. You may request a full cash refund within seven calendar days of purchase if all credits from that order remain unused and unreserved. Email patrickwu1992@gmail.com from your account email with the order reference. We check the payment and credit records before processing an approved refund to the original payment method. The provider or bank controls the time it takes to appear.

After seven days, or once any credit from that order has been used or reserved, a voluntary cash refund is not available; statutory rights remain unaffected. Leaving checkout does not cancel a payment that has completed. For a duplicate charge, missing balance, or undelivered service, contact support with the order reference. Returning a video balance after generation failure is separate from a cash refund. If generation never starts, the reserved balance is released; after H3 starts, settlement follows the provider's verified usage.

Acceptable use

Last updated October 30, 2026. This policy applies to uploaded portraits, generated videos, account use, and sharing. Users must be adults and may upload only material they have rights and permission to use. Permission to upload a photo does not override these restrictions.

Prohibited content

1. Pornography and NSFW content

No sexually explicit acts, sexualized nudity, exploitation, or non-consensual intimate imagery.

2. Violence and gore

No graphic injury, gore, threats or instructions for serious violence, terrorism, violent extremism, or weapons of mass destruction.

3. Hate speech

No dehumanizing abuse, discriminatory attacks, genocide advocacy, or incitement against a person or group based on protected characteristics.

4. Child safety

Zero tolerance: no CSAM, grooming, sexualization or exploitation of minors, or content that facilitates harm to a child.

5. Deepfakes and impersonation

No real-person deepfakes or face swaps, deceptive impersonation, fabricated speech or conduct falsely attributed to a real person, or non-consensual intimate imagery. A claimed permission does not make a prohibited deepfake acceptable.

6. Copyright and trademarks

No unauthorized use of protected images, video, music, characters, brands, logos, or other intellectual property. Possessing a file does not establish permission to use it.

Content checks

Before generation, Waffo checks the fixed operator-written prompt; only an allow result proceeds. Submitted user portraits are checked by SeeAPI before H3 generation. The H3 result is checked by SeeAPI video moderation before it can be delivered. A blocked, failed, incomplete, or unavailable check does not bypass review or release unreviewed content. These automated checks can make mistakes and do not establish a user's permission or ownership.

Report and response

Report a safety, privacy, copyright, or impersonation concern by emailing patrickwu1992@gmail.com with the page or job reference and a description. Do not email illegal images, credentials, or payment-card details. We aim to send an initial response within two business days.

Enforcement and appeal

Depending on the report, we may reject a request, block delivery, remove content where appropriate, restrict purchases or generation, or suspend/terminate an account. Contact the same address with the account and job reference to appeal an action. Unused paid balances are handled under the refund policy and applicable law; a policy report alone does not automatically confiscate credits.
